A soapbox derby will be held with the cooperation of the Japan International Soap Box Derby.
In this event, primarily directed at elementary school children, participants will assemble wooden mock cars, and compete in time trials on a 10 meter long course. Parents and children can participate together in mock car construction in this family event, which is aiming to support the healthy growth of children.
