ERGA HYBRID（PROTO TYPE) route bus features the parallel drive system consisting of a diesel engine, an electric motor/generator and a lithium ion battery of high power and large capacity. The combination of the highly efficient diesel engine that fulfills the latest Japanese emission standards and AMT (automatic manual transmission) enables ERGA to achieve excellent environmental and fuel efficient performance which in turn results in both quiet and comfortable drive. Motor-assist at start and regeneration brake at deceleration perfectly suits the route bus application that involves frequent stop and go in the city.
