An Aliminum Trailer for the Next Generation
After thoroughly considering a variety of materials to use for trailers, the Next Generation Trailer which uses the maximum amount of aluminum combines Nippon Fruehauf’s vehicle design technology with Nippon Light Metal Co., Ltd’s aluminum processing to bring you a truly ultra-lightweight vehicle. We are clearing the path for future ultra-lightweight vehicles with high capacity loads meeting certain criteria.
We were able to realize an ultra-lightweight vehicle with a high loading capacity using an aluminum structure in the main frame and the flooring. This trailer has a 10% higher loading capacity than the conventional maximum loading capacity of 20 tons.
