The downsizing of combustion engines is a key task of the future in automotive engineering. Behr’s integrated indirect charge air coolers combines high performance with small space requirement in the frontend. Thanks to the integration in the intake manifold, quick response and low air pressure drop can be achieved. Engine performance can be
improved and even downsizing of turbocharger is possible.
