The SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY delivers predictable and responsive handling for a high-quality, refined driving experience balanced with outstanding environmental and safety performance. Eco-friendly features include the SKYACTIV-D engine, which boasts the world’s lowest compression ratio of 14:0 and clears Japan’s Post New Long-Term Emissions Regulations without any expensive NOx after treatment technology, and i-stop, Mazda’s unique idling stop system with the world’s fastest engine restart of just 0.4 seconds.
