  ELF E-CARGO ISUZU developed new ELF around three pillars of its basic performance - safety, economy and environment.   ELF PLUG-IN HYBRID VEHICLE ELF PLUG-IN HYBRID VEHICLE achieves substantial improvement in fuel efficiency by virtue of motor-propelled driving in addition to normal hybrid driving . Fitted with "EV switch" the hybrid vehicle can perform as EV for delivery in the city and as HEV for travel out of city. In doing so, it can switch its power depending on driving environment. Also, the large capacity battery allows about 40km-long EV driving and the ELF PLUG-IN HYBRID can be charged quickly or normally.

jp ERGA HYBRID ERGA HYBRID(PROTO TYPE) route bus features the parallel drive system consisting of a diesel engine, an electric motor/generator and a lithium ion battery of high power and large capacity.   SUMIDA M TYPE BUS Though bus production in Japan went into full swing around 1925, a knock-down production of American models was a majority. Riding on momentum to build a fully domestic bus, Ishikawajima Automotive Manufacturer, the predecessor to Isuzu, produced the "SUMIDA M TYPE BUS" in 1929. The bus is also designated as a "Heritage of Industrial Modernization" by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as the oldest operational bus.

  Mimamorikun Online Service Mimamorikun Online Service collects operational data of trucks and busses (driving operation, vehicle speed, acceleration/deceleration information, fuel consumption and vehicle location) and sends it via packet communication network to servers at Mimamori Center. This service allows transporters and cargo owners to analyze and prepare data as they please if internet-enabled environment is available. Mimamorikun Online Service reduces workload of operation management by transporters and strongly supports their activities for safety and environmental protection through Eco-drive (economic and environmentally friendly driving).  
  Around Monitor System Around Monitor System is a visual support system that synthesizes and displays top-view images all around the vehicle. Images captured by four cameras on the top of the vehicle are processed, synthesized and then displayed in one screen from close to farther perspectives on real time basis. By displaying images of blind spots and other areas difficult to check by a driver all at once, the system supports the driver for safety check. Also, how to display images can vary with various scenes such as showing a larger image of mount and dismount of passengers near the door at a bus stop. The system contributes to driving safety by virtue of displaying different images around the vehicle fitting different drive scenes.

Such safety technologies of Advanced View Assist Technology (VAT) and Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (IESC) provide total preventive safety support for heavy-duty trucks. The Advanced View Assist Technology, utilizing millimeter wave radar and other sensors, visualizes a risk and thus helps drivers recognize the risk of possible accident, make good judgments and maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Moreover, IESC controls dangerous vehicle behavior which could lead to rollover or skidding and contributes to avoiding such danger.
