MINI John Cooper Works WRC |
The MINI John Cooper Works WRC, developed by Prodrive based on the MINI Crossover, made a partial entry into the World Rally Championships (WRC) in 2011, with full participation planned for 2012. Prodrive have customized the vehicle with the roll cage, suspension and other specifications necessary to prepare it for the world's toughest rally stages, while the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder twin-scroll turbo charged engine, based on that used in the MINI Crossover, has been specially developed by BMW Motorsport in accordance with FIA Super 2000 regulations. |

MINI Clubman Hampton |
The MINI Clubman Hampton is a special edition introduced in Japan in 2011 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the debut of the unique MINI Clubman concept. The MINI Clubman's predecessors, launched 50 years ago, were the Morris Mini Traveller and the Austin Mini Countryman, variants of the original Mini distinctive for their lengthened wheelbase and 'barn door' style rear doors. True to its heritage, the MINI Clubman Hampton features a special body color 'Reef Blue' and many exclusive options, in addition to a commemorative badge incorporating the number 50. |
