The 36th Tokyo Motor Show 2002

2002.10.29-11.3 (at Makuhari)

The second commercial vehicles show also marked the first event after the merger of JIMF and JAMA was completed. "Sense the Evolution - Commercial Vehicles on Stage." was the theme of the 36th Tokyo Motor Show. A variety of unique vehicles gave brilliant flavor to the show and visitors realized many new findings on a par with those in passenger cars. Sporty models were also the outcome of carmakers' efforts to integrate the use of both business and personal taste into one body. Visitors' interest included focusing on cars in the Vintage Commercial Vehicle corner, which were used in the period between the 1920s and 1970s, as well as the Motorcycles Supporting People's Life corner. At the miniature car booth, visitors enjoyed the assembly work of a bonnet bus miniature model. A special display, Children's Drawings of Commercial Vehicles, was also presented to support the family-oriented motor show.
